One finance HR firms received hundreds of resumes,enough to make Shenton the East Wall Street.The taker of such expats will definitely value the new ideas and the lunch time crowd will get even busier.Ex bankers,lawyers and so on welcomes the rush of London or the gridlock of NY for the orderly space of Singapore.Banks are naturally silence about the exodus.The take up for areas like legal ,compliance,tax,audit and finance are going on but the big four banks are looking and watching.A local knowledge of Asian would help greatly,plus the local language skills which favours returning citizens.It seems that the hirer prefers to take on local terms,Singapore being not isolated or hard.Housing ,car airtickets and expat allowance seems to be not part of the deal.The ongoing financial crisis will gird the company to retrain and wait for the recovery.Watch this space.
